Delivery and Style

In these two source, author use different style and delivery to describe different aspect of actuarial.

First, in "Unions Bankrolled Analyst Vetting Pension Bill", it use an example to show what the actuary do. It show that actuary can predict how much money should given the retire people, and then it can also related to the law. 

In "THE ACTUARY AND HIS PROFESSION: GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT, PROMISE", it use the person to tell people what he did in these years. Then he made a litter summary of the actuarial science.

There are some difference between article. First, they have different style. In first article, It is an formal journal, and it used third person vision and an event to write one point of actuarial science. It did not use very high style and strong statement. In the second article, it is an informal article. It use the person vision to tell people. It is like to use the experience to describe what is actuarial science. It has many strong statements and points. I think it can bring people a real feeling. So I think it used a very high and strong style. But I think they both use the way of delivery is a little bit similar. The words in this first article is formal, because it is a journal from New York Times.Its delivery is like a report. But another one is more relax, and it just like a person to share his story about actuarial science.

This video shows that what is actuarial science. It use the way likes interviews to show what is actuarial science. Some students whose major is actuarial science tell people many difference aspects of actuarial science. But there are something in common that all of these students like their major, and all of them like to adventure, to face difficulties, and like solving problems. These students need to study many differ nets courses like, economics, finance, business, and math. Therefore, if you like math and something with logical, and have interested in solving problems, let challenge yourself to study actuarial science. It might be an interesting major which has a wonderful future for you.

According to this video, I learn the different aspects of actuarial science. In this video, it introduce what is the actuarial science, what is the risk, what should you study in collage, how do you get start in this career, where do you work, what is the work like, and what is salary.

First, calculate is the basic science which is the significant parts in this major. Then it also introduce what the actuaries do in their daily life. It looks like boring, but they still need to try their best to do the work. Career actuarial science is a high risk and accurate job in the world. Though they can get millions of money, they also endure too much pressure. They must need to understand about many different aspects in science, for example, analysis, technology, and human behavior. Then using calculate to get the final result.

About me

My name is zhenyu zhang, come from China. As a foreign student I am very glad to come MSU to study. Studying in aborad is my dream. When I was a children, I dream that I can study in US one day. Now I am study in MSU, and study my favorite major--Actuarial Science.

The first reason I choose the Actuarial Science is that I like study math. To be honest, math is more difficult than other courses, but if I can study it well, I will have more choose in the major. I can use math to choose other aspect to explore. Then, I think in the future, the world will become an ecnomic world.  Economic will be the most important and foundational parts in the world. So if I can study something realte to the economic can help me to develop  better in the future.      

WRA 150 is the first writing class in my university life. I like compose some work in China. I like reading some poet and some lyric  lectures. So my style in writing is like pose or prose. It is because that I like some beauty words, and use these words can make reader release pressure when they read it.
